Ocean Coral & Turquesa, Riviera Maya

We really liked this resort. The food was good, time at the pool was always fun and the service everywhere was great. Service at the bars was also always quick. The room was a little outdated, but that isnt anything we care about. Check In Privilege check in was quick and very informative. We arrived around 2pm and our room was ready, which was helpful. Privilege Butler Alberto We had the privilege added to our stay. It was worth the additional money and we likely will choose privilege in the future. Alberto walked us to our room, explained to us what was included with the Privilege and gave us his contact information. He was quick to answer any question we had, and also booked all of our dinner reservations. He was really great. Room We stayed in room 1210, an ocean suite. The suite was the size of two rooms, when you walk in there is a half bathroom, then a large couch, table and chairs. This half of the suite also included two patio doors out to the wrap around porch. The other half of the room was a very spacious bedroom, with a closet, safe and then the bathroom. Bathroom was very large. Downside of the room is that its very out dated, but that didnt bother us. Pool We hung out at the pool with a swim up bar (middle pool). The pool was busy daily with many activities. We were out with towels around 7am getting chairs daily. They would have water aerobics, trivia, games and even had a foam party in the pool while we were there. The privilege pool is good if you want a little less crazy time. We didnt see much of the third pool (left pool if facing the ocean). Beach Lots of seaweed, but there isnt anything they can do about it. Plenty of chairs with shade available. Entertainment Crew The whole group worked hard all day with the games at the pool and entertainment help at night. Fernando was a riot and had our group having fun. Bar / Drink Service All bars offered quick service. Never had an issue. Gustavo at the swim up bar was awesome. Eduardo was at the pool bar (non-swim up side) and he was always quick and helpful. Breakfast We ate breakfast at the privilege lounge once. It was very good. We ate breakfast mostly at the buffet, just because it is a quicker option. Omelets were good and there were a lot of good options. Lunch We had lunch a few times at the privilege lounge. The crispy chicken sandwich and Caesar salad was great. We ate also at the buffet, because again its a quicker option. Dinner Mexican - this was okay, my favorite option was the barbcoa tacos. Besides the fajitas, the serving sizes were small, so I suggest ordering a few entries Italian - nothing amazing, but wasnt bad. Japanese/Hibachi - we had this two nights. The first night we had a newer chef and it wasnt anything great. No real Hibachi show. The second night was much better. French - Room Service We got room service a few times. Took about 30-45 minutes, which is great. The food was on par with the rest of the restaurants. Nightly Show / Late Night Entertainment Nightly shows started at 9pm. They had some of the same singers and dancers each night. They were very good and the shows were entertaining. The problem is there is very limited sitting availability. Would be nice to have more places to watch. The secondary shows by the pool after didnt start until 10:30, which was a full 30 minutes after the main show. And sometimes the secondary shows (DJ, band) didnt start on time. Spa My wife got a 80 minute massage that included hot stones. There are people asking everywhere about massages, but the lady in the spa charged $130, which was the cheapest. She was extremely happy with the experience. Gym Pretty small, only two treadmills but enough to workout. Was a little busy in the mornings but workable. Crocs There is a small wildlife area fenced off to the right of the reception lobby. They have small crocs in this area. Pretty cool to see. Puerto Morales We walked to Puerto Morales. Was over an hour on the beach. Small town with shops, restaurants and bars. Worth a visit, the beach there is nice. I would suggest getting a taxi on the way back thougth.

Ocean corral Turquesa is an amazing destination. All the staff was amazing. I want to give a special thanks to our friends Sexy Gustavo at the bar. He always knew what we wanted and made delicious drinks. Eduardo at the bar too was quick and great making drinks. Staff was friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. Francisco and paco helped us with yours and they were truly knowledgeable and made planning our tour easy. We will def be back again. It is hard to say goodbye.

The workers Gustavo, Eduardo, Antonio, Jesus, and Erika are super friendly and they become your friend by the end of the trip, they work so hard and are super kind when serving you ! David and Fernando work super hard and are super kind, they work around the pools and run the pool dances/excersize and also work around the pool volleyball as well. All the workers are super fun and super sweet!!

A bit old equipment,but pools and service are excellent!! Kids pool is very good for kids.The sliders looks fun and my kids likes them. Daisy club(kids club) is also good!

Gustavo Eduardo Antonio Hilda Alejandro Henry and Jesus were phenomenal we had the best time and would come back because of their amazing service! The pool bar was our favorite we look forward to our next trip at the ocean coral. Thank you!!!
